Dr. Emerald Jones is a native of Warrensburg, MO. She graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia with a degree in biochemistry before graduating with honors from the University of Missouri - St. Louis College of Optometry. There she was awarded membership in Beta Sigma Kappa National Honor Society and recognized for excellence in pediatric care. She also received the Remington R. Williams Award from the University of Missouri Board of Curators for her dedication to leadership and service.
Dr. Jones completed her clinical rotations at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center, Ridgeview Eyecare, Moyes Eye Center, the Kansas City Veteran’s Hospital, and the University of Missouri - St. Louis. Her special interests include ocular disease, pediatrics and specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Jones is actively involved in legislative advocacy for optometry and is an active member of the American Optometric Association and Missouri Optometric Association. She enjoys spending time with family and her dogs, reading and going to the lake. Dr. Jones practices in the Warrensburg and Concordia offices.
